總覺得 Dean 從地獄回來後有點不同，然後...才知道他多麼珍惜著重獲新生的福分；而這集原本是安排在 4x03 的，意味著那些悲傷、痛苦與疏離都在之後發生。於是，雖然我因此不知道該做何感想甚至感到頭痛，但似乎，這也不是個全然絕望的故事。

SPN/403 In The Beginning

一切的起點。

Dean 被天使送回到 1973 年。

Dean 見到相戀中的父母。

-- John
"You know something about cars?"
"Yeah. Yeah, my dad taught me everything I know."
..."Trust me, this thing's still gonna be badass when it's 40."

-- Mary
"Are you a hunter?"
獵人家庭, the Campbells.
Samuel, Deanna, and Mary.


Dean 和祖父在餐桌上的機鋒相對。
&..."John's a really, really nice...naive civilian."

黃眼惡魔出現在附近跟人做交易。
Dean 焦慮、急切。
"I know where this bastard's gonna be. And I'm gonna stop it,
...Once and for all."

Dean 前去跟媽媽道別，好奇爸爸是怎樣的人。
"...He is everything a hunter isn't."

Mary 跟 Dean 說起她愛 John，說她想離開，
說她討厭獵人的工作跟生活，她只想要一個家庭，想要安全。
說她能想像最壞的一件事就是她的小孩也被扶養成跟她一樣。

Dean 忍住哽咽的聲音請媽媽記住他說的。
"On November 2nd, 1983...don't get out of bed.
No matter what you hear or what you see, promise me you won't get out of bed."





Dean 驅車前往科羅拉多。
The Colt。


Samuel 跟 Mary 追擊在朋友家中現身的黃眼。
..."I like you. You got a lot of spunk."
Dean 趕回，黃眼卻在槍發之前逃脫。

Dean 跟祖父表明身份，黃眼卻早已轉附在 Samuel 身上。
"Are you one of my psychic kids?
...No. Not you. Maybe you got a sis...or a bro."

黃眼的交易只是十年後的入門許可。
完美的父母，理想的養育者。
被餵食惡魔血的孩子將加入它的競賽，成為它 Endgame 的棋子。

Dean 告訴黃眼他將是殺掉它的人。

黃眼殺掉了 Samuel、Deanna，然後...John。

Dean 遲了一步。
Mary 做了交易換回了 John，
她不曉得將會失去什麼。

天使將 Dean 帶回現代。


"Destiny can't be changed, Dean.
...All roads lead to the same destination."
"Then why'd you send me back?"
"For the truth. Now you know everything we do."


Dean 終於發現旁邊空蕩蕩的床。
"Where is Sam?"

"Your brother is headed down a dangerous road, Dean.
...We are not sure where it leads.
...So stop it. Or we will."
